Dallas Recorder Society: Recorder Players in the DFW Area |

DRS meetings are open to all Recorder and Viola da Gamba players.

Membership dues support our chapter, but are not required to attend.

Our monthly meetings are held regularly year around, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.,  generally on the first Saturday of each month, but not alwaysso check above. The meetings take place at Zion Lutheran Church, 6121 East Lovers Lane, Dallas, TX 75214, in the Choir Room.

Our meetings consist mainly of  consort playing usually led by our Music Director, Cornell Kinderknecht. Sometimes we also have a short musical program performed by local area professionals or by DRS chpter members.

We encourage new beginners to come play beside our more experienced players! Whether you are a pro, play for fun,haven’t played since grade school or have never played before, come join the Dallas Recorder Society for music,fellowship,and great fun!  Please visit our Membership area for more information on how to join.
